Bio

Deborah DeBord is the author of numerous freelance articles, short stories, and three cookbooks. She holds a Ph.D. from the University of Texas and has taught and lectured at universities and schools in Yugoslavia, China, Bulgaria, Guatemala, Mexico, and the United States.

In her spare moments, Deborah pursues her other passions . . .snow shoeing, camping, weaving, tap dancing, satisfying her wanderlust, trying new foods, and talking along with favorite movie classics. She is currently working on essays and recipes for a new cookbook, meanwhile chasing the elusive fiction fairy. But mostly, she takes great joy in putting her feet up in front of the fire.
